Blow-up (1966)

Director Michelangelo Antonioni tells the story of a popular London photographer who oozes sex appeal and captures models with his fashionable charms. In one scene whilst shooting a park near a antiques shop he’s just visited he captures something in which he’ll never forget; A mysterious beauty alone in the park? or?

The film is defiantly worth a watch from its camera shots to the fashion and styling of the cast; I had originally watched this film for part of my art foundation a few years ago. The twist at the end is also worth watching for.

The main character portrayed by David Hemmings is modelled on the fashion photographer David Bailey and portraits his lifestyle and attitudes.

I would give this film 6/10 as it is a interesting watch but the acting from some female characters is questionable to me. All women in the sixties are sexual minx’s it seems.
